Heimstone is a new French based label. The idea for Heimstone was born while Alix Petit and Delphine Delafon were working at another French fashion company, Michel Klein.

Both of them have always been passionate about creativity, and their friendship that made them realize that they need their complimentary influences to completed each other and to create something unique.

While Delphine loves dark colours, passionate about rock and roll and grungy livestyle, Alix prefer something much more feminine in a more subtle colour and lighter fabric. The result of their combination is Heimstone.

Each piece of the collections were so unique and almost genderless. For example the military dress. It can be very feminine with stocking and T strap Mary jane, though it can be masculine with jeans and boots or keds.

More interesting, the accessories really put together all the soul when combined with the dresses. Either the long necklaces, and or the big belt, really give the soul to those who wear them.

"The Heimstone girl is cool and edgy," says Alix. "But she likes comfort, like the pockets in our dresses." And that invisible French flair is evident in the Heimstone signature versatility.

"She can wear a Heimstone dress during the day with boots and then change to heels and be ready for the evening. The girl we design for would rather be too formal then too casual."
