Covet, Latest Perfume by Sarah Jessica Parker
So, finally I've tried Covet, the latest perfume by Sarah Jessica Parker.
This latest perfume by SJP launched two years after the first one (Lovely) first launched on 2005.
The advertisement said,
"It must be mine. I have to have it. Introducing Covet the new fragrance from Sarah Jessica Parker. Impulsive, indulgent, and irresistible. Covet is an ultra feminine fragrance created with a seductive blend of chocolate, magnolia, and amber musks."
The first thing that caught my attention is not the ingridients, but the green colour. Green always represents freshness and I love freshness. I don't really like Lovely, her first perfume, cause it smells too feminine and too flowery for me.
However, this green instead of refreshing, it smells warm to me.
At the time Lovely was released, Parker noted that "If I get the opportunity, my next scent will be genderless. Fuller. Riskier.", and more recently she has called Covet "more agressive" than Lovely.
Covet was developed by perfumer Frank Voelkl, and the ingridients include wet greens, geranium leaves, Sicilian lemon, lavender, chocolate, honeysuckle, magnolia, muguet, musk, vetiver, bois de cashmere, teakwood and amber.
She succeeded however, Covet smells genderless. I think it would be great for men to use it too, since the flower scent will only be a flash, and the chocolate, teakwood and musk stay longer with a touch of lemon and lavender. It smells really earthy, sexy, and warm.
I should say that this is not my favorite scent, but it is quite unique. Not the scent that I will find easily and or widely on the cheap faux perfume store.
I spray them on my wrist and my shirt twice in each place. After 7 hours, I still able to smell this Covet in my wrist really clear, and the smell in my shirt even last longer. So I think the lasting power should be reasonably strong.

TIPS: For you who loves to try new perfume and loves to collect new scent, you can try this Covet. But for you who loves flowery, airy, and fresh scent, I suggest you not to buy this one. (JPUK/AMZVS/MTDS07)
