The Age of Plain Colors

I am dying of blue for now...er...at least for this season. Blue might not be one of the 'it' colors, but we could see blue was worn by the models on the runways, and was one of the hottest color on designers' collections. Mostly are navy blue, deep blue, and dark blue, while the rest are just plain blue.

The blue that I want was captured specifically and perfectly on Versace's latest collection.

Isn't it a great bright blue? This kind of blue could be worn on almost every seasons. Spring with flowery pattern, summer with hot magenta dress and black leather, fall with black boots and chartreuse, winter with grey and silver stuff. Amazing, huh?

While I love the blue, I love the fur bags, too. Simple, but fun enough and still chic combined with the formal wear. Imagine wearing this blue fur bag with a flowery and graphic motives maxi dress on summer.

Or combined it with white eyelet cotton dress on spring, black turtle neck and dark grey pencil skirt on fall, last but not least, silver dress with blue jewelleries for winter party. How about that?

Apart from the superb blue, I think the latest collection of Versace are magnificent. They play in plain colors and create a hip vibrant in a very modern yet classy way. Take a look at this and you might learn how to play with plain colors and create a classy feminine look with no more than two colors on your color pallete.

Yes, that was the grey and silvery color. The 'it' color.

This is the black. Leather as a dress? Now that's what I called innovation.

This is the white collection. Rather than naive and fairish, Versace made it more futuristic and edgy. The silver belt just perfect and the dress was elegant in a casual way.

So, what do you think? (VSPS/PRJKT/DSVC07)
